Don't Get Duped! (Just Kidding... Mostly!) 
We had a chuckle this week thanks to a… spirited patron who might have thought their $15 ticket to National Theatre Live was going to teleport them across the pond for a live show! While we'd love to make that happen, our screenings are, as advertised (in three different spots, just sayin'!), the fantastic filmed versions of the best of British theatre. It's actually a huge honor to be chosen as a screening location for these incredible productions, and we thought it was a creative way to bring in a little revenue in between our own live shows. Operating costs are huge and although we're practically experts at stretching a dollar farther than a Broadway stage manager's patience, we still need to pay the bills.
What we don't much chuckle at, however, is when our dedicated volunteers get an unkind earful. Our box office folks are the heart of our theatre, giving their time to bring great art to our community. They deserve kindness, always.
We promise, you're not being "duped" – you're getting a fantastic theatrical experience right here in Grants Pass! And hey, for a theatre that's been continuously operating since 1952 (that's right, we're one of the longest-running community theatre's in all of Oregon!), we know a thing or two about putting on a good show, whether it's live on our stage or on our big screen!
