Applied Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
ASIST is 2 Day Training held December 6th-7th, 2018 for everyone 16 or older – regardless of prior experience - who want to be able to provide suicide first aid.
Shown by major studies to significantly reduce sucidiality, the ASIST model teaches effective intervention skills while helping to build suicide prevention networks in the community. Continuing Education Units for psychologists, social workers, licensed mental health counselors, school counselors, educators, substance abuse counselors, marriage and family therapists, nurses, police officers, EMT’s, and firefighters are available. Please make request prior to training.
Cost is $50 and registration is required.
