If not, chances are you know someone close to you who is. If you don't, you're rare and fortunate. It's a problem and we want to see the power of the gospel transform the lives that have been affected!

Please join us. Child abuse in Oregon is almost double the national average in child abuse cases. So. Oregon in some areas is almost 3x higher than the national average. When talking to law enforcement, school counselors, people that work in DHS or the court system the stories are heartbreaking and infuriating. It is a dark stain on our community. Right now in GP we could fill up the sanctuary twice with the amount of kids 0-18 that have suffered abuse, 2k right now in our community. 10k total in So. Oregon 0-18. 20k across So. Oregon ages 0-36 who have experienced some form of childhood abuse and now are trying to raise their own kids as they heal from their past.

As Game-Changers we believe what the bible says, ‘that we are NOT like those who are without HOPE!” While we intend to address this topic, we will focus on the ability to overcome it, and the healing that is needed to stop the cycle of pain and trauma. Marine veteran, black belt, and author Victor Marx has overcome the worst of the worst and he’ll share about his experience and how Jesus helped give him a heart of forgiveness. Human Trafficking The second goal of this event is the awareness and response to the increase in human traffic in So. Oregon. Victor Marx works to stop human trafficking globally. Again, we have law enforcement in So. Oregon that will tell you, human trafficking is a problem right here in our community. How should we respond?
