Land Steward Short Course
Oregon State University's unique Land Steward class is designed to help you learn to manage your property's natural resources more efficiently and effectively. In this expert-led course is broken down into 3 classes in which you will gain essential insights into:
* Wildfire risk reduction
* Woodland management
* Encouraging and controlling wildlife
* Stream ecology
* Pasture management
* Growing healthy soils
* Small acreage infrastructure
* Stewardship planning
By the end of the course, you'll have insight on enhancing your soil health and biodiversity for a more sustainable land, farm, and woodland area. This course combines self-paced online lessons, one weeknight classroom session in Grants Pass, and two dynamic field days with local experts at sites in rural Josephine County.
